Sara Nicholson is the founder and managing broker behind Nicholson Real Estate Group, but “real estate broker” only tells part of the story.

She’s a Southern Indiana local who believes the best real estate happens when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves, ask every question, change their mind, laugh a little, and know somebody is truly looking out for them. Sara built Nicholson Real Estate Group around that exact feeling: warm, personal, fiercely client-focused, and rooted in the communities it serves.

Sara is known for bringing big energy, creative marketing, straight answers, and a deeply personal approach to every transaction. She loves the strategy of real estate, from negotiating a deal to figuring out exactly how to market a home, but her favorite part has always been the people. First-time buyers, families making a huge transition, sellers saying goodbye to a home full of memories, investors chasing their next idea... she wants every client to feel like their story matters.

Outside of contracts and closings, you’ll usually find Sara dreaming up another community project, obsessing over branding, talking someone into believing their big idea might actually work, spending time with her family, or accompanied by her black Lab, Abby. She loves small towns, old buildings, good stories, colorful spaces, and the kind of places where people still know each other by name.

Sara doesn’t believe you have to fit a certain mold to buy a home, sell a home, build a business, or belong in a community.
